First day on the AT. Apparently I'm in pretty good shape. I was the only one who thought the approach trail was easy. Old man's name was 'many sleeps'. Is caretaker. Also met health teacher 'Sgt. Bilco' and woman who teaches autistic kids 'Margie'.
